A new feature in MoP is the Luck of the Lotus Buff which is obtained when you loot Golden Lotus as an herbalist.  This buff "Allows you to sometimes find extra treasure from monsters in Pandaria.  Lasts 15 min.  Effect persists through death."  I was not quite sure what this meant when I first looted the herb, but I did notice that I was getting random 'Plundered Treasure' while I had the buff. Seeing as we are all now getting free access to the WoW Remote Auction House, I wanted to share with you all a tip that will help you snag those cheap Cata greens using the mobile version of the app. For those that are new to the app, I suspect you will be pleasantly surprised with the ease of use of the Browse Auctions feature. However, it does have its limitations, so read on after the jump to avoid missing out on that tasty Jasperlode Helm of the Bear that someone just posted for 5 gold :o Read on past the jump.

With the release date announced for the Mists of Pandaria expansion it is a good time to start thinking about what to stockpile in preparation for Mists.  In the spirit of disclosure I haven't done an in depth study of everything that is changing in Mists, but I have some suggestions that have proven to be beneficial during the launch of Cataclysm. Head past the jump for my thoughts on the subject.

The Journey to Gold Cap by CavalloDeTesta

Recently, I’ve hit 1 million gold. As an avid player since patch 1.10 (yes vanilla) I take pride in being one of the few players who know what its like to beg for 50g for a respect just so I could raid for that evening’s Molten Core run. Gold in vanilla was extremely rare, almost as rare as the gear that the 1% guilds wore out of Naxxaramas at the time. I used to think that I would never see that content because there was something that was far more important than shiny purples. It happened to be gold. Read on past the jump.

Crafting And Selling Netherweave Bags by fenjayminor

Crafting and selling Netherweave bags is a good background or startup gold-making activity. These bags are nothing new - they were introduced almost three expansions ago. But they have not stopped flying off the shelves since the days that Illidan ran Outland and we all lived in Shattrath City, showing off our nether drakes. Head past the jump for the reasons why.
